The Board of Directors of the Capital Market Authority has issued a decision appointing Ayman Al-Sabbah as the Director of the Insurance Directorate at the PCMA as part of the PCMA’s efforts to strengthen the insurance sector and enhance its supervisory mechanisms.
Mr. Al-Sabbah holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Birzeit University and international financial certifications in various areas such as corporate governance, international financial reporting standards, actuarial science, and Islamic financial markets. He is also a certified expert in digital financial services, leadership, and team management, and has obtained several certifications in risk management.
It is worth noting that Mr. Al-Sabbah previously held the position of Director of the Insurance Directorate at the PCMA. He has also served in several managerial and supervisory roles, including as the head of the interim committee for managing the operations of the Palestine Insurance Company, Director of the Finance and Administrative Affairs Directorate, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Road Accident Victims Compensation Fund. Additionally, he worked as a financial manager in the World Bank project for establishing the Palestinian Pension Agency in 2005.
