Competitions

From time to time, the PCMA will run competitions or Hackathons to encourage innovation in specific areas within the non-banking financial sector.  The aim of such initiatives are to find practical solutions to developing certain under developed markets and/or to remove barriers to financial access , especially experienced by marginalised customers, such as women, youth, and small businesses. 

During the competition process, the Authority provide regulatory support, whilst we may also partner with other stakeholders who provide business and entrepreneurial support.

Competitions will be open to anyone either from Palestine or from any foreign country, provided that the solution developed as part of the competition is developed for the benefit of the Palestinian non-banking financial services sector.
